What do I do if I receive the error: no "libleverage.dll" found error after installing the sim?

This is a direct indicator that your Antivirus or Malware program is interferring with the install. Reinstall the sim, but disable these programs temproraily before installing.

It says that my License has expired?

When this happens it could be due to a hardware change on your end and sometimes a license key can become corrupted. Open your client and select the SUPPORT tab, then select DE-AUTHORIZE and shut down the client.

Restart the client and click on the SUPPORT TAB and click AUTHORIZE. This usually fixes the issue.

If you are on an older client the DE-AUTHORIZE and AUTHORIZE buttons may be located under the OPTIONS tab.

When downloading I get to about 99% and it stops, what do I do?

Most commonly this is caused by Anti-Virus Software running during download and it blocks some of the needed install files. You will want to turn Anti-Virus software off and try to re-download the software. You may need to run the ARCA Cleaner to completely unistall if the install package was corrupter from your Anti-Virus.

You can find the ARCA Cleaner below in the Downloads Section.

This means when you uninstalled most likely you did not DE-AUTHORIZE and return your key to your account before doing so. Sometimes an uninstall becomes corrupt and the key is also not returned.

Simply email us at team@thesimfactory.com and tell us your token needs to be reset and we will get right back to you.  We just need to make sure there is not multiple ip addresses using a single account. Usually reactivating for you is done within an hour or so. Sometimes it is in minutes. If you send it late at night it may take until the next morning but we will definatey get back to you and get you back up and running.

My software crashes alot...what do I do?

FIRST THING....DO NOT UNINSTALL - READ BELOW BEFORE WASTING TIME RE-INSTALLING!!!
BELOW IS THE PROCEDURE FOR CREATING A NEW PLAYER FILE AND TRANSFERING SETTINGS AND SETUPS FROM YOUR OLD ONE INTO THE NEW ONE.

  1. Open your C:Program Files->Sim Factory->ARCA Sim Racing->UserData folder and remove (do not delete) the player folder in there with your name on it. Place that folder on your desktop.
  2. Launch the ASR software and create a new profile…you can use the same name. When done you will have the new player folder in C:Program Files->Sim Factory->ARCA Sim Racing->UserData folder. It will have your name on it. Same as the one you backed up before if that’s what you used when creating the new profile.
  3. Now open the old player folder that you backed up…COPY the CONTROLLER file and your SETTINGS folder into your new PLAYER FOLDER so it brings your settings and setup in to your new player file.

*NOTE: If you have an older version of leverage the path to ASR may be C: Program Files->ARCA 08->UserData

Only thing you may need to reset in-game would be quick chats. Other than that this is the procedure to create a new player file and transfer setups and settings from the old one into the new one.

Whenever your ASR software crashes or you have system errors that cause crashes...you run a high risk of corrupting the player file. Most people re-install ASR when they occur an issue with software crashes and this simply is not needed and a huge waste of your time. *Remember the player file is always active when in game so if your power goes out or you have a PC issue which causes a crash...very good chance your player file can become corrupted. This is not a ASR issue it is an issue with the system crashing with an active file that cannot save properly. Nothing else in the software will become corrupted so re-installing ASR for this is not needed. The Gorilla Customswheel was developed to be the most realistic sim racing wheel on the market today. It was designed in conjunction with a top NASCAR Cup Series team, the Sim Factory LLC and Gorilla Customsand it is compatible with ASR as well as many other racing simulation software packages. You may need to calibrate the hardware using the control panel-> Game Contoller -> Logitech properties and then after you calibrate map the axis and buttons in ASR.

Holiday Patch Information

The ARCA Sim Leverage Client will not have our next scheduled patch available until sometime next week. If you are comfortable working with .zip files and computer systems, we are providing the update under manual download for use over the holiday weekend.

We are not providing any support for this feature but only providing it as a convenience until the actual patch is ready.

The steps to do this are below:

- Download the patch from this link and save it to your pc

- Next, extract the patch to a temporary folder (c:\temp). You will have a folder in there now that looks like this: Sim Factory/ARCA Sim Racing and several folders below it.

- Next, locate your Arca Leverage installation (usually c:\Program Files\Sim Factory\Arca Sim Racing) and make a copy of the ARCA Sim Racing folder somewhere on your system (ie: c:\Arca Sim Racing). You can also look in your ARCA Leverage Client under the Support button and see the game path for your install if you are unsure

- once completed, copy the "ARCA Sim Racing" folder from c:\Temp to your copied game folder (c:\Arca Sim Racing) and over write as prompted

- Last, create a shortcut to your arca.exe from the C:\ARCA Sim Racing folder on your desktop and use this to launch the game until the patch is officially delivered to the client next week.

Thank you for your patience and support of ARCA Sim Racing. Help us grow the sim racing community by sharing the link to our client: http://www.thesimfactory.com/ASR_L1.zip
